Comparative job losses chart for the current recession

This is from Nancy Pelosi, the current Speaker of the House’s blog. This is what 3.6 Million jobs lost over 13 months looks like . It plots the last two recessions against the current recession (the green line doing the scary death dive.)
I wonder what this overlay would look like compared to other historical recessions ? Or as compared to the Great Depression? On a per total jobs loss basis so it accounts for economic growth effectively?
Damn freaking scary. And this is just for the USA… anyone got global stats so far or for the G8?
