For reasons astronomers can’t currently explain completely, Jupiter has lost an entire ginormous and very visible stripe from its surface, altering the face of the solar system’s largest planet.

The entire SEB (South Equatorial Belt), which is twice as wide as the Earth and twenty times as long, just vanished, 2001: A Space Odyssey style. I love all the mysteries about Jupiter and how little we actually seem to know. Like, why the Big Red Spot is red or has been a sustained, raging Earth-sized atmospheric storm for so incredibly long.

OMG, it is like a big audio hug.

Love the story behind it as well as how he managed to mix all the user submitted tracks. Very cool.

OMG, this is awesome. Yeah, ok so that first degree of mine is in Economics and Political Science, so I’m totally geeking out on this, but it’s actually really good as well as theoretically accurate. So, listen close.

If you don’t know anything about economics, the scary thing you should take away from this is how heavily opposed in advice these two approaches are and that supporting one or the other is fundamentally a question, when you strip everything down to fundamentals, of belief. Pretty spooky, huh ?

I’ve had this theory of happiness (or at least what I think I need to be happy) for some time now. Long-suffering friends have had to listen to my ideas that are part-Frankl, part pseudo-science, part observation and part admission about the good and dark in my own soul. Ready ? It’s quite simple, really.
