Cook like Hitchcock
Cute and well animated how to cook like Hitchcock short in cookbook form. Lots of “in” references to the films. Great animation though felt the “story” could have been better but pretty impressive for a student project.

I endorse this message.
For all those people who keep wondering how I keep seeming to do all those new things, this is very close to my secret (or a very similar approach). Try to turn something new into a habit… Changing my diet? Exercising regularly? Living on 80%? A cultural outing every month? Epic birthdays? Write an app? All started like this. Actually, loving this idea for the novel writing one alone (cause i need to get a script and short done.).
Besides being an incredible piece of work, this video really shows how beautiful the night sky is when you get out of the cities here in Australia. Seriously, I don’t think, outside of the deep woods in Canada, I’ve ever seen so many star as I did when I was at Uluru and in Tasmania.
Yet another one to put on HD, darken the room and turn the speakers up. Oh, and I hope you’re checking this out @catscram.
This is fantastic. Hilarious short which is ostensibly an ad for Red Giant a video effects package (hell, I’d buy it on the strength of this vid alone.). So great if you can actually do this all with the package. Check it out.
Still working on getting the script written and looking at getting a HeroPro for the short shooting next week.
Besides the fact this is an utterly fantastic animation, you should be scared of the first code weapon that’s successfully struck a blow, destroying centrifuges at Iran’s nuclear facilities. Who’s responsible? Who knows?… but the fact it’s now available for just about anyone to dissect and redesign is something that should be of concern to everyone. Check out the video.

Haven’t played it all the way through yet, but kinda impressed with the start of The Curfew which was featured (and won Best Educational) at the Games for Change Festival . Besides the fact it represents a scarily possible England (seriously, when I lived there, there were “report on your neighbour” posters up).
The production values are high and the scenario not entirely implausible. Check it out. Let me know what you think. Too heavy handed? Too simplistic? Is it playable or did you get bored easily? Is it compelling? And, most importantly, how would you have made it better?
Fantastic presentation and argument on the next step for true gamification experiences and how they must evolve. Insightful.
(best if you watch it full screen btw - it’s the little button in the right hand corner)
Lurv this. I think all cities need moar of this.
Also, love the leap of faith while the oblivious passerbys walk over the chasm.

This is absolutely lovely. Watch in full screen with the volume up. Very chill.

Cool. I so need to learn to play an instrument.
And check out this amazing guy doing the same thing with cello and beatboxing
